TTRateTab

1. Enter the description of your Tariff Table
This description will not be seen by the guest therefore ensure that you make it something descriptive of the Category/Period. For Example: Std Superior High Season.

2. Choose the Tariff Type. Their are three (3) main choices for the charging of your Tariffs;
Nightly
Calculated on each night that the guest stays - Used by most mainstream properties.

Daily
Calculated on each day that the guest stays - Used for Tariff Grid (RMSOnline) and mainly Conference Rooms

Hourly
Calculated on each hour that the guest stays - Used mainly in the facility system for booking events.

Each of the above options then produces further selections; We will go through these options below;
Nightly:
Night of week
Nightly Rate used by the night of the week the reservation will be staying. For example a guest arriving Monday and departing Wednesday - RMSWeb will add the Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday rate to get the total Rate. The 'After 7 Nights' field and 'Loop back After' field do not apply with this setting.

No of Nights Stay
RMSWeb will look at the number of night's stay for the reservation and use that night's Rate to multiply. For example a reservation in for 3 nights, RMSWeb will look at the 3rd night's rate and use this as the nightly Rate. 'Loop Back After' does not apply with this setting.

Per Night
This will add each nights tariff together as per the number of nights the guest stays. For Example: a two (2) night stay would be 1st night + 2nd night = Total Tariff.

Per Person - Per Adults/Children
Set the nightly rate to charge for an Adult and Child. For example with a 2 Night stay RMSWeb will multiply the Adult/Child rate by the number of Adults/Children and the number of nights to get the total Rate.

Per Person - Per Night
This will add each night's rate together as per the number of nights the guest stays. For example a 2 night stay would be (1st night + 2 night) * No. of nights = total Rate.

Daily:
Day of Week
Daily Rate used by the day of the week the reservation will be staying. For example a guest arriving Monday and departing Wednesday - RMSWeb will add the Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday rate to get the total Rate. The 'After 7 Nights' field and 'Loop back After' field do not apply with this setting.

No of Days Stays
RMSWeb will look at the number of day's stay for the reservation and use that day's Rate to multiply. For example a reservation in for 3 nights, RMSWeb will look at the 3rd day's rate and use this as the daily Rate. 'Loop Back After' does not apply with this setting.

Per Day
Used for Book by Day reservations. Set the daily rate to charge. For example for a 3 day reservation, RMSWeb will add the 1st, 2nd and 3rd to get the total Rate.

Per Person - Per Adults/Children
Used for Book by Day reservations. Set the daily rate to charge for an Adult and for a Child. For example for a 3 day reservation, RMS will multiply the Adult/Child rate by the number of Adults and Days to get the total Rate.

Per Person - Per Day
Used for Book by Day reservations. Set the daily rate to charge. For example for a 3 day reservation, RMS will add the 1st, 2nd and 3rd to get the total Rate.

Hourly:
Used for Facility reservations. Set the rate for each hour of the guests stay. For example a reservation staying 3 hours, RMSWeb will add the 1st, 2nd and 3rd hour to get the total Rate.

Options:
3. If required enter the Minimum Reservation Period.
The Minimum Reservation Period should only be set if the Guest is required to stay more than one (1) night to receive this price.

4. If required enter the Maximum Charge Per Period.
The Maximum Charge Period should only be set if there is a minimum charge regardless of the daily Tariff. For Example: using the above Tariff Table if a one night stay should be priced at 300.00 regardless of the night the guest is staying then you would set the field to be 300.00, if a guest books for one (1) night being a mon they will be charged 300.00 however if the guest stays two (2) nights being a mon & tue then the charge would be 500.00.

Base Tariff:
4. On the right hand side of the screen enter the charge you wish to apply as per the Tariff Type option chosen from Step 2.

5. Enter the number of people that the Base Tariff covers in the Person Base field.
This is the number of people that the Base Tariff will cover before additional people are charged and includes Adults and Children.

Click once on the Save button at the bottom of the screen.
