Click once on Setup on the Navigation bar
Choose Accounting from the list
Choose Sundries from the sub list
Click once on Add
Sundry Charges appear on client Statements and Invoices. They are
linked to General Ledger Codes and there is no restriction as to
the number of Sundries linked to each General Ledger Code.
There are many different types of Sundry Charges that can be added
in through this area, we have broken these down for you, click on
the type of sundry you wish to add to your system for the specific
steps on how to achieve this;
Basic Sundry A
basic sundry charge would include items like Breakfast, Dinner,
Lunch, Newspaper, Late Checkout etc.
Refundable Sundry A
refundable sundry charge would include any charge which are to be
refunded in the future; Key Bonds
etc.
Credit Note Sundry This
option allows you to apply a negative charge to an account in RMS,
in essence a credit.
Sundry Payable to
Owners Any
sundry income generated will be paid to the Owner. For Example,
Rent from a Permanent Tenant.
Sundry Payable to 3rd
Parties Any
sundry income generated will be paid to the Third Party. For
Example, Plumbing maintenance on an
area.
Sundry with Additional
Tax Allows
you to apply up to another 3 additional tax rates each time the
sundry is used.
Sundry with Late Fee This
feature then will charge a late fee for these sundries depending on
the settings you have created under the Late
Fee.
Inactive Option applies to all types of sundry: If
there is a Sundry Charge which is no longer required, tick the
option Inactive, this will stop the sundry from being seen in the
selection list on an account. A sundry charge can only be removed
once you have purged your system past the date of its last
use.
Sundries Search Screen: The Sundries search screen will
show a list of all sundries by default.
You may filter the Sundries list to find the entry you are after by
using the Filter By option on the bottom left hand side of the
screen. Filter
Option is Description.
The columns on this screen are able to be widened by click, hold
and drag mouse function, left or right, the column you wish to
decrease or increase.
To move the column order, click and hold the column title you wish
to move, keeping the mouse button down drag the column left or
right to the desired area you wish for it to show, release the
mouse button to drop the column into position.
