Click once on Setup on the Navigation bar
Choose Lookup Tables from the list
Choose Res Types from the sub list
Click once on Add
Reservation
Types can be established here, for display in the Reservation
column of the reservation screen. It may reflect the purpose of the
reservation or identify types of clients. The Res Type field may be
made a mandatory field, to ensure market information is
captured. Res
types may be reported on using the filters in the Reservation List
report or by establishing specific templates in the Report
Writer.
1. Enter your Description Using
the example shown in the screen shot below, you may wish to call
your Res Type Corporate Guest.
2. You may enter an Est Revenue Per Adult Optional
Field.
3. You may add Sub Res Types As
Corporate Guest may describe many different types of guests, you
may add sub res types being Government, Seminar and any other
reason that you may receive corporate
reservations.
4. Click once on Save/Next to enter further Res Types. Click once
on Save/Exit when complete.
Res
Type Search Screen: The Res Type search screen will show a
list of all Res Types by default.
You may filter the Res Type list to find the specific type you are
after by using the Filter By option on the bottom left hand side of
the screen. Filter
Option is Res Type.
The columns on this screen are able to be widened by click, hold
and drag mouse function, left or right, the column you wish to
decrease or increase.
To move the column order, click and hold the column title you wish
to move, keeping the mouse button down drag the column left or
right to the desired area you wish for it to show, release the
mouse button to drop the column into position.
