From any screen within RMSWeb

Click once on Setup on the Navigation bar
Choose Accounting from the list
Choose Requirements from the sub list
Click once on Add

Create a master list of requirements. Requirements established here are displayed when adding requirements in a reservation.

1. Enter a Description.
Requirement descriptions may be alpha or numeric characters or a mixture of both.
The short description will appear in reports.

2. Select a Sundry charge.
If a charge applies to this requirement select the appropriate sundry charge from the drop down arrow.


3. Enter the Qty.
Enter the quantity that the requirement is for (this will effect the price).

 
4. Enter the Unit Price.
If you wish to use an amount which differs from the sundry charge settings then enter it here, if you wish to use the amount set in sundry charge move to step 5.


Amount:
This is a system field and cannot be manually changed, this amount reads from the sundry charge setup sell price.


5. Use Amount From Sundry:
If you wish to use the amount setup under the sundry charge area always then tick this option, this option will over-write step 4.


6. Select if you wish your Requirement to Appear on Housekeepers Report: .
If this option is selected when the requirement is applied against a reservation or on the 'to do list' it will automatically show on the housekeepers report for that day.


7. Click once on Save/Next to enter further General Ledger Codes. Click once on Save/Exit when complete.

This feature will hide the requirement from the selection screen. However will still appear within your reporting.


Requirements Search Screen:
The Requirements search screen will show a list of all requirements by default.

You may filter the Requirements list to find the entry you are after by using the Filter By option on the bottom left hand side of the screen.
Filter Option is Requirement.

The columns on this screen are able to be widened by click, hold and drag mouse function, left or right, the column you wish to decrease or increase.

To move the column order, click and hold the column title you wish to move, keeping the mouse button down drag the column left or right to the desired area you wish for it to show, release the mouse button to drop the column into position.
