This chapter will cover those elements of RMSWeb that constitute
what area is bookable at your property.
Please see below for an overview of each subject within this
chapter
Properties/Category/Area Their
are three (3) key points to entering your bookable areas into your
RMSWeb system.
Each of these subject have been broken into two (2) areas;
1. Quick Start
2. Full Overview
The Quick Start subjects will assist you to enter each element
quickly and easily using only the mandatory fields required.
The Full Overview will take you over every field shown on each tab
of each element.
Properties RMSWeb
is able to handle multiple properties in one database. It can
restrict access to certain properties and allows you to report on
each property separately. If you only have one property this will
be listed by default.
Category These
can also be known as Room Types. It is a way of grouping similar
room types together in order to making your tariff setup quicker
and easier. For Example: Your property may consist of one and two
bedroom apartments, therefore your Categories would be One Bedroom
and Two Bedroom. Alternatively all of your apartments may be two
bedroom however one type has a Garden View and another a Beach
View, therefore you could have the Categories of Garden View and
Beach View.
Area This
is the final element and it represents the actual bookable area. To
your property this could be a Room, Apartment, Site, Seat, House
etc.
