The Housekeeping Module in RMS can be used extensively or simply
just to assign tasks to perform for housekeepers.
All elements are optional of the Housekeeping module except one
(1), Housekeeper Tasks.
This chapter will take you through the setup for the following
elements;
Linen You
can set a master list of Linen items if you wish to have RMS show
linen requirements against rooms on the Housekeepers report.
Linen is attached to bed configuration allowing the system to
automatically calculate the Linen requirements for you depending on
the number/size of beds in the area.
Bed Configuration Give
the Bed Configuration a Description and assign the number for each
linen item by typing a number over the zero in the Bed
configuration box. E.g. a Double bed may have 2 double sheet's 2
pillow slips and 2 towels at each linen
change
Housekeeper Holidays These
are specific dates during the year that Housekeepers do not work.
These could be Public Holidays or special event
days.
Housekeeper Tasks Create
a list of tasks to be performed by Housekeeping E.g. Departure
Clean, Service etc.
Housekeeper Task Costs The
Housekeeping Task Cost is only for Owner/ Trust Accounting
properties. This setup tells RMS how much to charge an owner for
each Task completed.
Housekeepers Enter
each of the housekeepers name and address, phone numbers and email
contacts.
