From any screen within RMSWeb

Click once on Setup on the Navigation bar
Choose Properties/Category/Area from the list
Choose Attributes from the sub list
Click once on Add

Attributes can be applied to Areas, Categories, Properties or Dwellings to identify places with particular characteristics. For Example: Ocean view, disabled access, floodlights, parking available. etc.

Selection of an attribute to search on will show only those assets with that attribute. They do not need to be in the same category, they just need to have had an attribute assigned.

Attributes are often used to find facilities with specific characteristics. For Example: air conditioned halls, disabled access, floodlights. ocean views, spa rooms etc.
 
1. Select the Attribute type
Using the drop down arrow choose the Attribute type you wish to associate - most often used with Areas.


2. Enter an Attribute description
Enter the description of the attribute. For Example: If you have chosen the attribute type of Area then you may use the description of Ocean View.


3. Click once on Save/Next to enter further attributes. Click once on Save/Exit when complete.

Attributes may be displayed at the Quote/Availability screen when making a reservation or from the Booking Chart when viewing what areas are available.

 
Attributes Search Screen:
The Attributes search screen will show a list of all attributes by default.

You may filter the Attributes list to find the one you are after by using either the Associated To or Filter By options on the bottom left hand side of the screen.
Associated To options include: All (default), Area, Property, Category and Dwelling.
Filter Option is Attribute.

The columns on this screen are able to be widened by click, hold and drag mouse function, left or right, the column you wish to decrease or increase.

To move the column order, click and hold the column title you wish to move, keeping the mouse button down drag the column left or right to the desired area you wish for it to show, release the mouse button to drop the column into position.
