In order to utilize the Top Tourist membership database your computer will be required to have a permanent connection to the internet. You must also being using version 8.11.255 or higher of RMS. You must also be using the RMSOnline Module.
Dot Net Framework 3.5 SP1 must also be installed to use this module. If you do not have this version installed it can be downloaded from the RMS Customer Service web page www.rms-global.com
Setup of RMS:
To activate the Top Tourist Membership interface you will need to change 3 settings in RMS.
One:
Go to the setup menu of RMS > General Information.
On the right hand side of this screen you will find the field for Code > enter the letters TTP into this field with no spaces.
Go to the License No. field > enter your Top Tourist Login Username and RMS Client ID as per below separated by a hyphen.
The License No you will need to enter is - [Enter your TTP Login]-XXXX
Two:
Go to the System tab in the General Information screen.
Tick the option to Use Membership Database. Do not enter any information to the data path below.
You are now ready to use the Top Tourist Membership Database.
Three:
Ensure that the membership field can be seen in the client details column.
To do this;
From the Main Menu of RMS choose the drop down setup menu on the top tool bar.
Select the Field Maintenance option in the list provided.
In the first column 'Client Details' ensure that the field for 'Membership No.' is ticked.
If you wish to move the field up or down first click once on the field to select it then using the up and down arrows to the right of this column click the appropriate button until the field is positioned where you would like to see it.
Four:
Notify Graham or Phil from ContACT Internet Solutions that you now wish to have your code activated. You will need to inform the company of your RMS Client ID.

Using the Membership Database
After contacting the company as per step four and ensuring that your code has been activated you may now use the membership database link.
When making a new reservation type the guest's membership number into the Membership No. field at the top of the client details box then hit enter on your keyboard. If the membership number is found then RMS will automatically fill in all of the guest's details as required.
Proceed with the rest of the reservation as normal.
