Search for a Reservation

From the Upper Tool Bar select Search, or using your hotkeys F3.

Search On:  
Under 'Search on' there are numerous ways to search for a reservation including Res No, Grp Name, Surname, Repeat No, Area, Alt Key, Phone AH, Event Name, Event Name, Postcode or Company. Select which criteria you wish to search on.  
 
Status:  
You would normally leave the defaults ticked, although if you wish to search for a departed or cancelled or no show reservation then you will be required to tick these options.  
If you have elected to use the module for Quote Status, this will be an additional status in this field.  
 
Options:  
Here there are three options;  
1. Booking Type - You may choose to search on Both, Event Bookings Only or Accom Bookings Only.  
2. Res Between - You can specify a date range for the reservation.  
3. You may choose to show Group Records Only  
 
Look For:  
The blank field is where you would type your information, matching your criteria to search on. eg surname  
 
Buttons:  
Add:  
Clicking once on this button will allow you to make a new reservation.  
 
Edit Res:  
If more than one reservation is found you will be required to highlight the one you wish to preview and click on Edit Res.  
 
Reset:  
Removes all the default settings of the columns.  
 
Print:  
This will print the list found.  
 
Refresh:  
Simply refresh's and updates the list if any changes have been made.  
 
Exit:  
Quits the screen.  
 
Screen Functionality:  
The client screen can be set for your preferences in the following ways;  
1.   Each column may be minimized or stretched to fit the preferred amount of data to display  
2.   Columns may be moved to new locations by simply left clicking on the title of the column, holding down the mouse click and dragging to the new location on screen.  
3.   Columns can be hidden by dragging the line accross to the left.  
4. The dispaly will remain as changed until reset is selected, or you change the column layout.  
5. .In order to return to the default layout you may simply click on the reset button at the bottom of the screen.  
 
When Print is selected the search page will be printed using the layout displayed on the screen.
