| If the RMS/POS Interface is not processing charges;
|
|
|
| RMS/POS Interface may not be running:
|
| 1. Ensure that your POS interface is running in the system tray.
|
| If not go to Start, Programs, Startup, Select POS Interface.
|
|
|
| The RMS/POS Interface data path may be incorrect:
|
| 2. Ensure that the path for the POS interface is correct in RMS.
|
| Go to RMS Setup Menu, General Information, Modules Tab.
|
|
|
| POS Processor data path may be incorrect:
|
| 3. You would need to contact your POS software company to check this path.
|
|
|
| Testing:
|
| Create
|
| A reservation
|
| Check it in
|
| Create
|
| Charges via POS software
|
| Open
|
| Reservation account
|
| You should see the charge appear within 60 seconds of creating the transaction.
|
|
|
| If the charge does not appear and the above has been checked contact RMS support.
