If the RMS/POS Interface is not processing charges;  
 
RMS/POS Interface may not be running:  
1. Ensure that your POS interface is running in the system tray.  
If not go to Start, Programs, Startup, Select POS Interface.  
 
The RMS/POS Interface data path may be incorrect:  
2. Ensure that the path for the POS interface is correct in RMS.  
Go to RMS Setup Menu, General Information, Modules Tab.  
 
POS Processor data path may be incorrect:  
3. You would need to contact your POS software company to check this path.  
 
Testing:  
Create  
A reservation  
Check it in  
Create  
Charges via POS software  
Open  
   Reservation account  
   You should see the charge appear within 60 seconds of creating the transaction.  
 
If the charge does not appear and the above has been checked contact RMS support.

Note: You cannot use Alpha/Numeric rooms numbers when using the H&L Interface.
