BIG4 Membership Database

| In order to utilize the Big 4 membership database your PC will be required to have a permanent connection to the internet.
|
|
|
| Setup of RMS:
|
| To activate the Big 4 membership interface you will need to change 3 settings in RMS.
|
|
|
| One:
|
| Go to the setup menu of RMS > General Information.
|
|
|
| On the right hand side of this screen you will find the field for License No. > Enter the name BIG4 into this field with no spaces.
|
|
|
|
| Two:
|
| Go to the System tab in the General Information screen. Tick the option to Use Membership Database. Do not enter any information to the data path below.

|
|
|
|
|
| You are now ready to use the Big 4 Membership Database.
|
|
|
| Three:
|
| Ensure that the membership field can be seen in the client details column.
|
|
|
| To do this;
|
| From the Main Menu of RMS choose the drop down setup menu on the top tool bar.
|
|
|
| Select the Field Maintenance option in the list provided.
|
|
|
| In the first column 'Client Details' ensure that the field for 'Membership No.' is ticked.
|
|
|
| If you wish to move the field up or down first click once on the field to select it then using the up and down arrows to the right of this column click the appropriate button until the field is positioned where you would like to see it.

| Using the Membership Database:
|
|
|
|
|
|
| When making a new reservation type the guest's membership number into the Membership No. field at the top of the client details box then hit enter on your keyboard. If the membership number is found then RMS will automatically fill in all of the guest's details as required.

| Proceed with the rest of the reservation as normal.
|
