Introduction to RMS Setup

The Setup Menu governs how your RMS application will work for you, here you can activate and deactivate fields, make fields mandatory, add additional fields etc. You will also add your property's details here.  
 
This chapter contains information that allows you to setup and maintain the RMS system.  
 
Only a few areas are required to make RMS function initially those are listed below;

Sundry Charges  
 
Tariff Setup Including, Charge Types, Charge Periods, Tariff Tables & Tariff Lookups (not required for all installations)  
 
RMS provides many features and processes, you can customise your system to work closely with your business processes. Apart from the areas listed above, it is your choice as to which of the many options and features are to be used at your property.  
 
   HINT: Windows prevents use of special grammar symbols so commas, apostrophes, inverted commas,colons, ?, * !! etc are to    be avoided. It is best to keep to plain text. The use of CAPITALS is generally permitted but may provide a less than satisfactory    format when used as a merge field in form letters.
