Holds

What is this Feature?
The Hold function allows a room to be held during periods its occupant is absent. The reservation continues but days of absence may be recorded and charged at a different rate to the occupied tariff.

When is it used?
This may be used to record any period of absence, whilst the room contiues to be reserved in the occupant's name. Mining camps use this feature to note leave days, whilst the room continnues to be held for the occupant. It prevents the room becoming available for the few days the occupant has indicated their absence.
