Holding Payment to Owners

HOLD PAYMENT  

This feature allows you to hold back payment to an owner, this payment then becomes a brought forward figure for the owner in the following month.  
 
There are two options when choosing to hold payment for an owner;  
 
1. Holding the Entire payment  

To hold the entire payment from the owner simply go to the drop down Client menu and choose Search.

Choose to search by your preferred method and ensure to highlight the client type of 'Owner' at the bottom left of the screen.

Once your owner is found double click on the record, then go to the banking tab

Place a tick in the 'Hold Payment' option, then save and exit.  




2.   Holding a specific amount from the owner  
 
To hold a specific amount from the owner simply go to the drop down Client menu and choose Search.

Choose to search by your preferred method and ensure to highlight the client type of 'Owner' at the bottom left of the screen.

Once your owner is found double click on the record, then go to the banking tab

Place a tick in "Hold Payment' option, then enter the amount you wish to hold in the 'Up To' option. Save and Exit.
