| What is this Feature?
|
| Parks frequently offer their Annual/Semi Permanent guests a number of free nights as a benefit of their long term residence. This feature records the use of free nights and maintains a running total of nights used against the entitlement.

| How does it work?
|
| Once set up, the history tab in the client details record displays a record of entitlements, nights used and the balance remaining in this period. Each property sets the entitlement, duration and start date.

| How are Free Nights set up?
|
| Set the Long Term option in the client details screen to YES, to display the Annual/Semi Permanent area at the bottom of the history tab.
|
| Set Field Maintenance to display the Long Term field and the Free Nights field in the client details.
|

|
| How is it used?
|
| This area allows you to entitle a client to x amount of free nights every x months, starting from a specific date.
|
| In order to tell RMS that a clients stay is NOT to be used as a free night you will need to come into this screen and tick the box that corresponds to the reservation which is to be excluded as a free stay. All reservations not excluded will be added to the free nights count.

| RMS will then record each eligible stay and deduct it from the total free nights that the client has to show a balance of nights remaining.

| By selecting the Free nights field to appear in the client details display, the running total of free nights will show on the client record avoiding the need to access the History tab to see the current total.
|

| HINT: When adding a new client at the reservation screen, always check the drop down box for similar entries. Or use the Enter key after entering part of a surname – a selection of names will appear.
