Country Grouping

| What is this feature?
|
| Country groupings gather individual countries into one group. eg Germany, Denmark and Estonia can be grouped together in a Northern Europe group.
|

| When is it used?
|
| The Clients by Region report in Management Reports is one report which has an optional setting to group countries. It assists analysis by showing the relative importance of each grouping which may not be apparent when countries are listed alphabetically.

| How is it set up?
|
|
|
| 1. Add group headings
|
| Go to Set Up menu/ Groupings
|
| Add any groupings required
|
|
|
|
|
|
| 2. Assign Countries to a Grouping
|
| Go To Ancilliary Set up ( Click on the down arrow next to the Set Up button)
|
| select Add
|
| select a Grouping from the drop down arrow
|
| highlight the countries required in this grouping ( Hint: Hold Ctrl and highlight a numbe rof countries at once)
|

| Add as many Groupings as required
|
|
|
|
| Save & Exit
|
| Using this feature
|
| Go to Management reports
|
| select Clients by Region
|
| highlight By Group Country
|
|
|
|
|
|
| The Tourism Report in Management Reports also uses Country Groupings - these and Postcode groupings must be set up and applied for this report to work correctly.
