Company Set Up

A Company may be set up at the Company button, Upper tool bar - down arrow, Add.  
 
The company record allows clients to be associated with a company. A company can consolidate all accounts for a company into one statement and to provide marketing data for analysis. A recent development also provides financial accounts for companies, allowing consolidation of reservation accounts and an accounts receivable process.  
 
A charge type may be assigned to the exclusive use of a company to provide special tariffs for that company.  
   
To link a client to a company, select the company from the drop down list at the company field in the client record. Once a client has been linked to a company, all future reservations will also be linked to the Company. If you wish to de-assocaite a client and compnay, simply delete the company name from client record. All future reservations will not link that client to the company until you reinstate a compny name in the client record.    
 
You may enter in as much or as little information that you require to hold about the company.  
   
Go to Setup Menu from the Upper Tool Bar, choose Company, then select Add.  
or  
Go to Setup Menu drop down arrow from the Upper Tool Bar, select Add Company.  
 
Contacts Tab:  
This area is used to record different contacts from that company, Eg. Accounts Payable, Director etc. and may only be entered once the booking has been saved.
