| Areas are grouped in Categories to reflect the standard of the area, location or other features.

| All areas in a category usually have the same tariff/rate, this allows easy construction for your tariffs, however, it is possible to specify an individual tariff to a specific room within a category (more will be covered on this in the tariff setup.

|
| It is possible to have 1 area per category.
|
|
|
| It is suggested that you setup an account code for each individual cateogry (see Adding Account Codes) and then to attach a grouping name of Accom (see Grouping setup).
|
| This setup will allow you to see what revenue you are making not only in each individual category but also as a whole (all categories revenue added together)
|
|
|
