Cash Account Use

To access the cash account, click once on the cashaccountbutton button on the upper toolbar. This will then display the account shown below;

Sundry Charges:  
To place a charge & receipt onto the cash account click once on the sundry charge button, choose the appropriate sundry charge and enter the amount, click save. This will automatically call the receipt screen, from here choose the type of payment it is, enter the amount you wish to receipt and save.  
 
Create Expense:  
To create an expense click once on the Create Expense button, select the sundry charge, enter the amount and save. This will place a credit line and a debit line onto the account. In effect you are telling your banking that this much has been taken out of your till.  
 
Void Charge:  
In order to void a charge placed onto the cash account, locate the charge required and click once to highlight, then choose the Void Charge button at the bottom of the screen. This will not only void the charge but reverse the receipt attached.  
 
Void Expense:  
To remove an expense placed onto the cash account, locate the expense required and click once to highlight, then choose the Void Expense button at the bottom of the screen. This will remove the debit and credit attached to the expense.  
 
Statement:  
To print a statement of the cash account works the same as from a reservation or client account. Simply highlight the charge you wish to show from on your statement and click once on the statement button. This will be sent directly to the default printer.  
 
Tax Invoice:  
Tax invoices may be printed from the cash account. By choosing the Tax Invoice button the system will allocate all charges to the invoice who have not yet received an invoice. This will be previewed on the screen prior to printing.  
 
Show Voided:  
The Show Voided button allows you to view or hide the voided charges, receipts and expenses on the cash account.
