Availability Chart

The Availability chart is used to view the number of areas within a category that you may have available on any given day.  
 
Like the Reservation chart, the charge periods are distinguished by the change in colour across the top of the chart, when you mouse is placed over this colour a small description field will be shown below your mouse icon displaying the name of the period.  
 
Your categories are displayed down the left hand side of the chart, the number of areas you have in each category is shown to the right of the category description.  
 
Statistics are shown at the bottom of the chart including, # of areas booked in total, # of day use reservations, # of areas still available, occupancy %, and the average tariff on the day.  
 
A day represented in red (as Sat below) informs you that there is a requirement set for that day, to preview the requirement simply right click once on the day.

There are 8 options at the bottom of the Availability chart, these are described below;  
 
DATE: This date is the start date of your chart. You may change it by using the drop down calendar.  
 
SHOW: This number represents the number of days from the 'date' you preview on the chart.  
 
USER DATE: When this button is set to user date you must choose the date to start your chart from, it will default to today's date until changed. If this button is pressed it will then display 'today's date' and the date field will be greyed out.  
 
STATS ON: Displays all areas with statistics turned on only. When changed to stats off it will display all areas regardless.  
 
AGENTS: This field is used to select the availability for a particular Travel Agent if allotments are used in your system.  
 
ATTRIBUTES OFF: If you have attached attributes to your areas and categories during the setup stage of RMS, then you may choose to use the attributes button, this will open a screen which lists all of the attributes you have entered into the system broken into either property, category or area attribute. By ticking the attributes you wish to see only and saving it will then take all areas and categories from your view on the chart, leaving only those that have the ticked attributes attached.  
 
REFRESH: When an option is changed you must choose the refresh button for you screen to be updated.  
 
PRINT: You may print the availability chart as you view it.  
 
EXIT: Quits you from the Availability chart.  
 
 
 
QUOTE SCREEN: You can make a reservation from the Availability chart by right clicking once on the category and day you wish to make a reservation, this will then show the quote screen as per the screen shot above. Complete the details above and choose proceed with reservation.
