Attaching a Travel Agent to a Client

A Travel Agent can be attached to a client record by either editing the client record or attaching the Agent while making a reservation.  
 
To add a new client record see Adding a Client Record under the Clients chapter.  
 
To edit an existing client record see Editing a Client Record under the Clients chapter.  
 
To attach an Agent while making a reservation see Single Reservations under the Reservations chapter.  
 
Once you have the client details screen open you will find a Travel Agent field on the left hand side of the screen. Simply place your cursor in this field and hit the enter button on your keyboard, alternatively click once on the arrow that appears in the right side of the field. From the list choose the Agent you wish to attach then save and exit.  
 
Note: If you cannot see the Travel Agent field, this may be because you have chosen to hide it under the Field Maintenance section of RMS. See Ancillary Setup, Field Maintenance.  
If the Travel Agent field is blue this indicates that you have made it mandatory in your setup menu. See Setup Menu, General Information, Reservations Tab.
