| The data you enter in RMS is your property and can be regarded as an asset of the business with the ownership of the software remains with RMS. This arrangement is standard throughout the software industry where intellectual property is protected by copyright and used by multiple customers.

| Licence payment
|
| Payment of the licence fee is recognised by the RMS Configurator and the expiry date is automatically changed. Provided payment is made before the expiry date, or your direct debit remains in place, you will not see the screen below or have or use of the software comprised in any way.

| Sites not connected to the Internet will need to enter a manual licence key number, provided by RMS.
|

| Licence payment overdue
|
| If your licence payment is overdue, the above screen will be displayed, advising the number of days remaining before your system will expire. Once expired you will not be able to enter any data or change any settings in RMS. You will only be able to view existing data.
