RMS provides software products and customer service to its customers across a wide range of markets. By developing a strong business partnership with each customer we can:

In the course of its operations, RMS has access to commercial and personal information that it regards as privileged.
RMS affirms an absolute adherence to privacy and confidentiality and will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep secure any information that it may hold about our customers
RMS will not pass on or discuss any information gathered from its customers to any third party. This includes information about a customer, their business operations or their customers whose details are on reservation management system databases.
RMS does not pass out its customer lists for promotion or publicity purposes and does not sell its customer lists.
Screen shots used in demonstrations and examples in manuals, advertising and on its website do not include details of any real person.
Remote access to customers’ databases is needed to provide an efficient and rapid response to requests for assistance. RMS staff will only connect to a customer’s data with the full knowledge of the customer and will advise when connection is terminated.
No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be secure. While RMS will endeavour to protect customer information, it cannot guarantee the security of any information any person may transmit when they access its website. Even though RMS encrypts data transmitted over the Internet, it still cannot guarantee data transmitted cannot be unencrypted by persons with nefarious intentions. Nonetheless, the likelihood of this occurring is extremely low.
Customers as referees
RMS will respond to requests from potential customers about existing customers by providing names of selected customers as examples of sites where its products are used. If referees are requested, RMS will contact existing customers to obtain agreement before releasing contact details.
Personal Identifiable Information
RMS will only use personal identification for the primary purpose for which it was collected. Personal details will never be shared with others without the express consent of the individual.
All reasonable steps are taken to ensure personal information is protected from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
RMS complies with and accepts liability to the privacy standards of the State of Victoria regardless of where the data is stored.
